What does our charity do?

The PGMT offers small cash grants (bursaries) to deaf and hearing impaired students who have an offer of a place or have secured a place on a course or activity in Secondary, Higher or Further Education (or training) in England or Wales.

The charity is also able to provide grants to groups or organisations which provide such courses or activities.

Who was  Peter Greenwood?

Peter was the Deputy Head at Thorn Park School for Deaf Children, Bradford. He worked enthusiastically to improve educational opportunities for Deaf people, particularly in post 16 education.

Tragically, he died in the fire at Bradford City Football Ground in May 1985
